Meet the speakers

Allison Egan (she/her) is the program manager, sustainability at HealthPartners. In her role, she leads a comprehensive, award-winning sustainability program focused on energy conservation and greenhouse gas emissions reduction, waste minimization, sustainable purchasing, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining HealthPartners in summer 2021, Allison spent four years at enFocus, Inc. in Indiana, where she led the organization’s civic innovation initiatives and managed twenty different fellows and project managers. Allison received a prestigious Fulbright Canada graduate studies award and received master’s degree at the University of Waterloo; she received her bachelor’s degrees at Purdue University.

Marc Olson is the vice president of policy and producer administration and lead environmental officer (LEO) at Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America.  As the LEO, he is responsible for organizing sustainability improvement targets and initiatives.

Fred Rozumalski is an ecologist and landscape architect currently employed in the water resources division of Barr Engineering Company in Minneapolis, MN. A believer in the power of every land owner’s potential to help regenerate ecological balance, Fred has developed a specialty in designing practical landscapes that sequester carbon, harvest stormwater, and conserve energy. His work ranges from writing city-wide green infrastructure plans, to restoring native ecosystems, to designing corporate urban environments that feature perennial food crops. Fred is committed to teaching others to implement sustainable landscapes. Fred holds degrees in horticulture, ecology and landscape architecture. He also co-authored the book Lakescaping for Wildlife and Water Quality with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and has been adjunct faculty in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota. 

The Sustainable Growth Coalition is convened by Environmental Initiative, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to catalyze collaboration across perspectives, power, and systems for social equity and environmental health.
