Insights & Impact Forum: Investing in Minnesota with the Inflation Reduction Act
October 26, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
$30Event summary
The passing of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) in 2022 granted $370 billion of support to projects that would boost clean energy. This funding, alongside other expansive initiatives like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, signifies unprecedented federal commitment to reducing greenhouse gases and improving other environmental issues.
The government provided guidance for new programming under the IRA earlier this year. On Thursday, Oct. 26, Environmental Initiative will host an Insights & Impact Forum to bring together Minnesota’s nonprofits, state governments, community leaders, and business authorities for a conversation about where the funds are headed and what resources are currently in development.
Join us in the Ballroom at Macalester College from 3 – 6:30 p.m. to learn how these tools will impact the state of Minnesota and its marginalized communities. Panelists will also discuss how federal investments are helping the state meet the goals of the Justice40 Initiative.
