I am drawn to Environmental Initiative’s unique skill to work across multiple sectors and across difference to drive change. The value we place on interdependence really resonates with me. We all need to work together to solve complex environmental issues. 

I truly believe we are trying to address equity on environmental issues in an authentic way. I’m really proud of that. It’s been difficult and it’s taking patience, and we are getting more used to having uncomfortable conversations, throwing out old norms, and the need to do this correctly (and more slowly) than we have in the past. 

I started getting involved with Environmental Initiative by attending policy forums. Attending events hosted by Environmental Initiative is a great way to get involved in the work we do.
