I first heard about Environmental Initiative when I was in graduate school. I attended policy forums and found myself feeling connected to Environmental Initiative’s mission and values. The focus on building relationships drew me to become more involved.  

The value Environmental Initiative places on intention really resonates with me. Thinking and acting with purpose to achieve results is a key part of our work.

My graduate schoolwork focused on equity and justice in relation to diesel emissions in California, so I am always keeping environmental justice and equity in mind – personally and professionally.
