I value Environmental Initiative’s relationship-based approach. The aim to make progress by working together across differences resonates with me. I better understand how equity and environmental issues fit together than I did five years ago but still feel that I am early in my journey. I enjoy working with my board colleagues who may come from a different background or hold different views. As we build our relationships, it will help each of us and Environmental Initiative lead on equity issues in cooperation with our communities.
