A sad truth is that there is no equity when it comes to the environment. Communities that are marginalized will always have spaces that are subpar, and their water and air will not be as clean as communities of influence. I find value in Environmental Initiative’s work because this organization tries to treat all communities the same through it all.

We only have one world, and we should be good stewards of her. I want others to know they shouldn’t be scared that they don’t know enough or that they don’t know anyone. Everyone is welcome. All knowledge is valuable. If you want to get involved, it is very easy to step up.
