Greetings and salutations! My name is Alli Mueller and I am thrilled to be joining Environmental Initiative as a Project Coordinator in support of the clean air program. My educational background includes an Associate of Arts degree from Normandale Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, and a Master of Science degree in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Prior to joining Environmental Initiative, I worked in the Cultural Resources Management (CRM) and Environmental Consulting industries for nearly 20 years, filling roles as an Archaeological Field and Laboratory Technician, Field Logistics Coordinator, Project Archaeologist, Principal Investigator, and Project Manager.
While my time as a professional archaeologist was fulfilling, in later years I found myself almost exclusively supporting oil and gas sector projects; this led me to make the conscientious decision to pursue a second career supporting projects meant to protect and preserve our environment. Having spent a great deal of my career as an archaeologist working in the field, I feel a deep connection to the environment and am passionate about the principles of environmental accountability and stewardship.
