Environmental Initiative is committed to placing the health, safety, and well-being of people before other concerns. We recognize that we must prioritize the needs of those most vulnerable and most impacted in our decisions.

We strive to follow the direction, advisories, and guidance of the Centers for Disease Control, Minnesota Department of Health, and Minnesota governor’s office. This includes:

  • Restrictions on travel, public events, and meetings.
  • Working remotely and virtually.
  • Following appropriate vaccination, social distancing, and face-covering recommendations.

The Environmental Initiative office remains closed and all staff continue primarily working remotely.  All Environmental Initiative events will continue to take place virtually.  Most meetings will occur virtually or by telephone. In some cases, very small group meetings may be held while following recommended precautions and documenting attendance.

These measures will remain in placeuntil direction, advisories, and guidance from relevant public health officials and authorities changeWe aim to be responsible; cooperative with public health efforts; and make decisions based in consideration for the well-being, health, and safety of our staff, board, and partners.

If you have concerns or questions about our approach, decisions, or the changing situation, please email Mike Harley or call him at 612-334-3388 ext. 8115.
