The Environmental Initiative Awards is an opportunity to celebrate risk, innovation, changemakers, and relationships. Join the winners, sponsors, staff, board, friends, partners, family members, neighbors, and those we haven’t yet met. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet individuals and organizations who are working at the nexus of creating a healthy environment, prosperous economy, and equitable society.
We’re excited to continue this tradition of highlighting collaborative solutions and strengthening our connections to each other.
In the midst of a global pandemic,we remain committed to placing the health, safety, and well-being of people before other concerns. This year we will celebrate during an all-day event, with the focus being on the winners and their work. The day’s activities will be held on Crowdcast and Zoom.
The event is styled in a “choose your own adventure” format. Emceed by Adrian Perryman, the Welcome, Lunch, and Closing will offer a lively and fast-paced format. Attend Award winner sessions that interest you or are related directly to your work.
The event is free to attend and is open to everyone who is interested in the winners and our work.
Meet the winners
During the day, each winner will have a dedicated 30 minutes to showcase their work, invite their partners join in the storytelling, and have a conversation with attendees regarding participating in, supporting, or replicating the winning project.
Meet the sponsors
Awards sponsors are deeply invested in the opportunity to highlight environmental initiative and innovation. Representatives of each sponsoring organization will attend the Awards celebration and will welcome the opportunity to share what these Awards mean to them.
Meet the board
Our board members will join the celebration to cheer on the winners in addition to the opportunity to meet people the projects and winners have positively impacted.
Meet the staff
The Awards would not be possible without people and projects to celebrate. Behind the scenes, Environmental Initiative staff members are “all in” when it comes to presenting this annual event. Our team loves to hear about cool new projects, brainstorm possibilities, and meet people so do not miss the opportunity to introduce yourself.
