I joined Northside Safety NET to help current and future residents of Minneapolis and learn about the city. I moved here six years ago and didn’t know much about Minneapolis, but I want to find ways to improve the environment and inspire people to come here. I really enjoy getting to learn while I work, and every project we’ve done has gotten me more and more interested in our environment. It’s exciting to learn when I am with the other interns and having fun, I feel more comfortable and get to bring creative ideas to the table.
