The organization was founded in 1992 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the name Minnesota Environmental Initiative (MEI). In 2011, we legally changed our name to Environmental Initiative.
Contributions to Environmental Initiative are tax-deductible and advance our mission to build partnerships to develop collaborative solutions to environmental problems.
