Building the partnerships needed to address complex environmental problems is our priority and our mission. Environmental Initiative has a range of capabilities to address environmental issues – meeting our partners where we are needed most. We conduct our work in three major ways:
Environmental Initiative events are a starting point for addressing environmental challenges. Through our events we create a space where people from all sectors and backgrounds can learn from experts and from one another. Event topics are selected and developed collaboratively by staff and members of the wider environmental community.
We facilitate conversations with environmental leaders to achieve policy and other solutions for environmental and economic progress. Environmental Initiative convenes and manages open and transparent processes with participants from business, government and nonprofits.
Building consensus through conversation is integral to addressing environmental issues, but problems are only truly solved when consensus leads to action. Environmental Initiative manages on the ground collaborative projects to protect and improve our air, land and water.
