AGRICULTUral LEADERSHIP DIALOGUE

The Agricultural Leadership Dialogue is an informal convening of leaders in the agricultural community to discuss agricultural land management and water quality practices and interests. The goals of the dialogue are to develop shared understanding among interests and to identify new opportunities to address land management and water quality challenges. The group will work towards economically viable opportunities that have support from the agricultural, nonprofit organization and government sectors.

The project is designed to take place in two phases. Phase I was completed in August 2011 and involved only members of the agricultural community. Phase II began in November 2011 and is engaging diverse, cross-sector participants representing agriculture, environmental nonprofit organizations and state agencies.  The project is scheduled to conclude in June 2012.
