Business & Environment Series:
Greening the Supply Chain
: drivers, challenges and strategies

Driven by a range of factors, including corporate sustainability commitments, efforts to cut costs, demand from stakeholders and pressures from a host of national and global regulations, businesses are increasingly broadening the focus of their sustainability efforts. Moving beyond internal sustainability initiatives, companies are now working comprehensively to address environmental impacts through their supply chains and product lifecycles.

The success of these efforts requires rigorous data tracking and balancing priorities and multiple requests for information. Effective, efficient collaboration and communication between suppliers and consumers is also critical.

In this session, a team of experts and business leaders provided an overview of what greening your supply chain really means, explored the drivers and the complexities of greening your supply chain and offered strategies to help companies overcome challenges and stay ahead of the curve.
